Online Dutch teacher Claudia

My name is Claudia Schopman, 25 years old, and traveling with my partner in Europe.

After my PABO education, I first worked as a teacher in the Netherlands and then went to teach for 2 years on the beautiful island of Curacao, where I taught at a local school with NT2 students (students with Dutch as a second language). After returning to the Netherlands I started working temporarily as a school coach at a Cluster 4 secondary school and did substitute work.

In my spare time I am involved in sports and nutrition and enjoy finding and devising challenging and appropriate lessons.

In my teaching style, I strive for high learning outcomes and know how to achieve them by really “seeing” each student and therefore stimulating them appropriately.

In addition to my individual approach, I provide meaningful and inspiring teaching. I find it important that education encourages students to take initiative, make independent choices and to be and remain curious.

– Pabo at the Marnix Academy in Utrecht

– Elementary school teacher at various schools in the Utrecht and Gorinchem area.
– Elementary school teacher on Curacao at a location school
– School coach at a Cluster 4 secondary school
