You need to know three things about Dutch for Children’s online classes!
1. Online classes with Dutch for Children are customized
At Dutch for Children, customized means tailor-made. Not only do we adapt the content of the lessons to your child, but we also adapt the lessons to their interests, levels, and wishes. But also how we arrange the lessons with you, the parents, in the always hectic schedules of the children. Moreover, we look together at payment methods and are flexible in rescheduling or catching up on lessons. You can read more about how customized lessons are designed and how the teachers of Dutch for Children do it here in Dutch.
2. Professionalism of the teachers and the team
Professionalism and experience. All teachers, including the director, are educated Dutch teachers at our school. In addition, all teachers have done one or more extra education, such as language and dyslexia specialists, NT2 teachers, or Dutch teacher training for secondary education. With us, the well-being and best interests of the students are our main concern. We have frequent contact through email, a buddy system, and online meetings as a team. We regularly evaluate lessons and the way we teach.
The world is big, and Dutch for Children’s outlook is global. Many of our teachers live abroad or have lived abroad. All teachers have experience teaching children in or from foreign countries. We are open to all students who want to learn Dutch: Children who wish to learn Dutch as their first, second, or third language and from entry level up to high school level in the Netherlands.
Through this link, you can “meet” all the teachers on our team and read more about them.
3. Involvement is our signature for online classes
Involvement is our signature. Dutch for Children is an online school with a team of 12 teachers and a principal. The director has seen Dutch for Children grow under her leadership and has known many students since their schooling. If you want to read the story behind Dutch for Children, click this link.
Every teacher is very involved with their students. In addition, as a team, we are involved with each other and each other’s students. In fact, one of DfC’s very well-established systems is that all teachers can see and share each other’s lessons. Invaluable are the bonds that develop with students and also grow with parents of children who have been taking lessons at Dutch for Children for years.
Online classes from Dutch for Children are worth it
Dutch for Children’s online Dutch lessons are worth the investment. As an expat or emigrated family, you not only dream of living in a beautiful other country but also often dream about keeping your children’s opportunities in the world open. As an expat mother in a frequently relocating family, I know this better than anyone. We parents like to do well in all areas. How nice it is when you can outsource some parts. What a peace of mind this gave us. No more fighting to keep up with Dutch, no more worrying about whether our child was behind or how we got (and kept) him motivated.
How nice it is when your world child masters the Dutch language and is at the right level for a possible (continued) study in the Netherlands, so he has the freedom to choose what suits him best. Do you have any questions, or would you like to discuss the possibilities for your child with me? Send us an email, and we will contact you soon!
Have a great start to this year, and we will meet in 2024!
